Reservation and Payment:
To make a reservation at AGAMUI, a non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total booking amount is required within 7 days after issuing the invoice.
The remaining balance must be paid in full, 90 days prior to the scheduled arrival date via bank transfer.
Failure to make the full payment within the specified timeframe may result in the cancellation of the reservation.
Cancellation and Refunds:
All bookings made at AGAMUI are non-refundable.
In the event of cancellation, no refund will be provided at any time.
If cancellation occurs more than 90 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, we will endeavor to assist with rescheduling to an alternative date, subject to availability.
Check-In and Check-Out:
Due to the block booking nature of AGAMUI, all check-ins and check-outs are subject to flight schedules to the island.
Guests are required to arrive and depart at the designated check-in and check-out times, which will be communicated prior to arrival.
Late arrivals or departures outside of the allocated dates may incur an additional charge of $50 AUD per person for pick-up and transfer to AGAMUI.
Guest Responsibilities:
Guests are responsible for their own safety and well-being during their stay at AGAMUI.
Guests must respect the property, facilities, and other guests, and refrain from any behavior that may cause harm or disturbance.
Any damages caused by guests to the property or facilities will be the responsibility of the guest and may incur additional charges.
Surfing Activities:
Guests who wish to participate in surfing activities must have appropriate skills and experience.
Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by the AGAMUI staff and adhere to local surfing regulations.
AGAMUI will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during surfing activities.
Limitation of Liability:
AGAMUI shall not be held responsible or liable for any damages, losses, injuries, or inconveniences caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, transportation disruptions, bad weather, unfavorable wave conditions, or any other force majeure events.
Guests acknowledge and accept that engaging in activities associated with AGAMUI, such as surfing, boating, motorbikes, and any other recreational activities, involves inherent risks.
AGAMUI takes no responsibility or liability for any accidents, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during these activities.
Guests participate in these activities at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety and well-being.
Guests are advised to exercise caution, follow all safety instructions provided by the AGAMUI.
Privacy:
AGAMUI will collect and store personal information provided by guests solely for the purpose of reservation and communication.
Personal information will not be shared with third parties without the consent of the guest, except as required by law.
Travel Expenses and Responsibilities:
AGAMUI does not take responsibility for any flight delays, cancellations, reschedules, or any incurred costs as a result. Guests are responsible for their own flight bookings and any associated expenses.
Guests are required to cover the following travel expenses:
Return flights to Simeulue.
Accommodation for stopovers, if applicable, such as in Medan.
Airline board fees and any excess baggage costs.
Tourist Visa costs, which are to be paid on arrival in Indonesia.
Any costs to extend the Tourist Visa if the planned stay is longer than 30 days.
It is the guest's responsibility to ensure they have the necessary travel documents, including a valid passport and any required visas, and to comply with all immigration and customs regulations.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia.
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia.
Travel Insurance:
Full travel insurance is mandatory for all guests staying at AGAMUI.
The travel insurance policy must include comprehensive coverage for medical expenses, including emergency medical treatment and evacuation.
Guests are required to provide proof of valid travel insurance to AGAMUI prior to their arrival.
Proof of purchase, such as a copy of the insurance policy or a confirmation letter, must be sent to AGAMUI via email or any other designated method.
It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that their travel insurance policy remains valid throughout their stay at AGAMUI.
By making a reservation and staying at AGAMUI, guests acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
